The foundation

Since the parish is lacking resources to support restoration works, a fundraising campaign is underway. The Foundation for the Restoration of the Church of St. Barbara in Vevey has been created in 2020 for that purpose.

Tax deductible donations

As the Foundation is recognised by the State of Vaud as an entity that is pursuing public interest purposes, any donation may be deducted in the donor’s tax return.

The Foundation is an entity independent of the parish. Its statute guarantees that collected funds will be allocated entirely to the restoration works of the church. It will dissolve after completion of the works.
